NEC BOWLER OF THE WEEK

Germanich earned her second NEC Bowler of the Week award thanks to an impressive first place finish at the Niagara Spring Classic over the weekend. The sophomore finished with a 228.40 traditional average and a 23.02 Baker frame average. Germanich also compiled a 90.4 fill percentage, 65.4 strike percentage, 9.43 first ball average and an 83.9 makeable spare percentage. Her efforts guided Mercyhurst to a second place finish at the meet with a 7-3 record.
 
NEC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Dakota Collins, Niagara
Fr., East Islip, NY/East Islip
Collins bowled her way to a 19.40 overall frame average. The East Islip, NY native had a 19.75 traditional frame average and a 19.03 Baker frame average over 71 frames. In those frames, Collins had an 80.08 fill percentage and a 51.4 strike percentage, good for fifth and fourth, respectively, among NEC bowlers on the week. The freshman's efforts helped Niagara to a third place finish at the meet and earned her a second NEC Rookie of the Week award.

14th place at Niagara Spring Classic, 187.60 traditional average, 20.89 Baker frame average, 82.7 fill percentage, 51.9 strike percentage, 9.10 first ball average, 81.1 makeable spare percentage.
