Brock made it three straight NEC Bowler of the Week nods as the top performer at the Niagara Fall Open last weekend. Brock finished with 219.80 average in traditional play and a 1,099 total pinfall at the tournament. The senior posted a tournament-best score of 289 in a win over Mercyhurst in the fourth traditional game. Brock bowled all 50 frames in both traditional and Baker, finishing with a 62 percent strike rate in individual and a 54 percent mark overall. She registered an 82 percent first-ball perecentage and converted 87.5 percent of her makeable spares, contributing to a first place finish at the tournament for the No. 25 Purple Eagles. In Baker play, Brock averaged 21.24 pins per frame and made 91.3 percent of her makeable spares.
NEC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Taylor Miller, Duquesne

Miller earned her second straight NEC Rookie of the Week award after a 19th place finish in a strong field of 183 bowlers at Destination Orlando on October 24-26. The Lititz, PA native averaged 196.0 in five games of traditional play, posting a 45.6 strike percentage for the No. 12 Dukes, helping her team go 7-6 in a loaded tournament field. In Baker play, Miller led Duquesne with a fill percentage of 87.2 and had a first-ball percentage of 89.4. The rookie played a key role in Duquesne's victory over No. 11 Sacred Heart, bowling a 220 against the Pioneers. Miller's first-ball percentage in traditional play was 89.2.
