NEC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Joshua Bartels, Sr., M, FDU

During a 2-0 week for FDU, Bartels tallied three points off a goal and an assist as the Knights clinched their spot in the 2026 NEC Men’s Soccer Championship. The senior midfielder netted the game-winning goal in FDU’s 1-0 win at New Haven on Sunday night. He found the back of the net off a cross from Matt Giraldo in the middle of the box to put the Knights ahead in the 59th minute. Bartels also dished an assist during a 3-1 victory over Central Connecticut on Thursday night. The Stafford, VA native is the third FDU athlete to be tabbed NEC Player of the Week this season. The Knights will be making a NEC Tournament appearance for the eighth time in the past nine years.

NEC MEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
James Martino, Fr., M, Stonehill
Smithtown, NY/Smithtown West
Martino helped secure a 2-1 victory of Stonehill on Sunday afternoon as he scored the game-winner in the 79^th minute of the contest. The freshman midfielder intercepted an attempted clear by the Mercyhurst keeper and launched the ball into the goal from just past midfield. The Skyhawks improved to 3-3-1 in league play with the win. Martino is the second Stonehill player to earn NEC Rookie of the Week accolades this season.

Daniil Kaban, HU (F, Jr.)
Scored twice in the Howard's 2-1 victory over Virginia State on Wednesday night. 

Tal Levy, LIU (F, Jr.)
Netted a pair of goals in LIU's 8-0 win at Chicago State. Levy ranks third in the league for goals (three) and second in points per game (1.54). He is also tied for the most game-winning goals in the league with four. 

Nic Robinson, LIU (M, Sr.)
Totaled five points off two goals and an assist against the Cougars on Sunday. 

Jeffrey Vanegas, LIU (M, Sr.)
Tallied two scores and dished an assist in the Sharks' victory over Chicago State on Sunday. 

Felix Van der Hagen, STO (GK, So.)
Made nine saves on his way to posting a .900 save percentage and 1.00 GAA in a 2-1 win against Mercyhurst.
