Martino helped secure a 2-1 victory of Stonehill on Sunday afternoon as he scored the game-winner in the 79th minute of the contest. The freshman midfielder intercepted an attempted clear by the Mercyhurst keeper and launched the ball into the goal from just past midfield. The Skyhawks improved to 3-3-1 in league play with the win. Martino is the second Stonehill player to earn NEC Rookie of the Week accolades this season.
