NEC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jeremie Pelade, So., F, FDU
Aix-En-Provence, France/Lycée Paul Cezanne (Mid America Nazerenne University)
Pelade netted both goals in FDU’s 2-1 victory at La Salle on Monday night. Just five minutes into the contest, Pelade took advantage of a loose ball in the box and found the back of the net to give the Knights a one goal advantage. Locked in a 1-1 stalemate, the sophomore striker would go onto score the game-winning goal at the 72:00 minute mark. Preseason favorite FDU is off to an unbeaten start with a 1-0-1 record. The two scores marked the first goals of his Division I career. Pelade is one of four NEC players to rifle off two goals in a match this season. This marks the sixth straight season a Knight has taken home NEC Player of the Week accolades.
NEC MEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Max Beech, Fr., F, Mercyhurst

Playing the ball just past midfield, Beech launched the ball into the box where a Harrison Dudley header set up Silva’s score to the top shelf. This marks the second straight year that a Laker has won a NEC Rookie of the Week award with Santiago Giraldo taking home the honor a season ago.
