NEC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Felix Ludemann, R-Jr., F, Le Moyne
Wrestedt, Germany/Herzog-Ernst-Gymnasium Uelzen
In an unbeaten week for Le Moyne, Ludemann did it all as he scored four goals for the Dolphins to kick off NEC play. The redshirt junior averaged 2.00 goals per game as he netted both goals in Le Moyne’s 2-2 draw against New Haven on Thursday night. Ludemann, then, led the Dolphins to a 3-0 triumph Stonehill with another pair of scores on Sunday afternoon. Le Moyne sits at 1-0-1 in conference play and improved to 5-2-3 overall. The Germany native’s four-goal week put him in the lead of the league’s golden boot race as he now has eight scores on the year, which is tied for seventh nationally. Ludemann also averages the second-most goal per game (1.00) in the country. Additionally, he leads the conference and is tied for third nationally with 2.13 points per game.  This is the second time a Le Moyne athlete has earned NEC Player of the Week honors, joining veteran goalkeeper Wyatt Dupell.

NEC MEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Preston Duval, Fr., M, FDU
George Town, Cayman Islands/Darlington Highschool
Duval scored his first career goal in FDU’s conference opening victory at Chicago State on Sunday afternoon. The freshman midfielder granted the Knights a commanding 3-0 lead heading into halftime as he found the back of the net at the 33:57-minute mark. Duval’s score came in fastbreak fashion as he played a loose ball into the box and chipped of the Cougar keeper. FDU went onto win 5-0 against Chicago State to improve to 7-2-1 overall and 1-0-0 in NEC play. This is the second straight week a FDU freshman has claimed NEC Rookie of the Week accolades.
