FDU continued its hot start to the conference season with a weekend series win of Maryland Eastern Shore led by Ray’s power hitting. The sophomore right fielder went 5-for-10 in the box while smashing four home runs, scoring seven runs and driving nine more over the three-game series. The Woodbine, NJ native showed out in the Knights’ 12-7 win over UMES by going 3-for-4 at the plate, while cracking a pair of homers, a double and registering four RBIs. Ray finished the week with an impressive 2.467 OPS off a 1.800 slugging percentage and a .667 OBP. Ray leads the NEC in slugging percentage (.820), OPS (1.334), RBIs (42), homers (14) and at bats (111). Additionally, Ray was previously named NEC Rookie of the Week once during his freshman year a season ago. FDU is out to a NEC-best 13-2 start against league opponents.
NEC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Lang tossed six innings of two-hit ball during Stonehill’s 13-2 win over Delaware State on Thursday afternoon. The junior right-hander allowed just one earned run, while punching out a season-high eight batters. During his dominant outing on the mound, Lang gave up no walks through 19 at bats and limited Delaware State to a .105 BA. His eight strikeouts were the most by a Skyhawk hurler since May 10, 2025. He completed the outing with a conference-best 0.333 WHIP. Lang is the second Stonehill player to take home NEC Pitcher of the Week accolades, marking the first time multiple Skyhawks have won the award in the same season since 2023. Stonehill currently sits a 10-2 in conference play.
NEC BASEBALL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Brendan McLoughlin, Wagner

McLoughlin did it all at the plate as Wagner won its weekend road series against defending conference champ Central Connecticut. The freshman catcher batted .545 (6-for-11) during the conference series and came up clutch in the Seahawks’ two victories over the Blue Devils. During the thrilling 16-13 series finale win, McLoughlin hit .750, cracked a two-run homer and registered three RBIs. He was Wagner’s only player with at least three hits during the triumph. The Latham, NY native added a 2-for-3 outing during Friday’s 8-2 win. McLoughlin added three runs and a double in the contest. McLoughlin completed weekend play with a 1.509 OPS off a .909 slugging percentage and .600 OBP. This is the fifth consecutive season a Seahawk freshman has been named NEC Rookie of the Week. Wagner currently sits at 9-6 in NEC play.
