NEC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jack Cannon, Le Moyne
Jr., INF/OF
Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder
In a weekend that saw Le Moyne score a combined 57 runs across three games, Cannon was instrumental in the Dolphins’ explosive offense. The junior right fielder went 12-of-18 in a series win over Delaware State. Cannon drove in 13 RBIs, including nine in Le Moyne’s 21-9 win over the Hornets on Sunday. He also scored six runs himself throughout the weekend. Cannon is the first Division I player this season to have a six-hit performance after going a perfect 6-for-6 against Delaware State. The Webster, NY native is also the first DI player since 2023 to have at least six hits, four doubles and nine RBIs in a game. Cannon finished the weekend with a 1.723 OPS off a 1.056 slugging percentage and a .667 OBP. The Dolphins are out to a 2-1 start in NEC play. This is the third straight year Le Moyne has had at least one NEC Player of the Week award winner.
NEC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Jake Cumming, Coppin State
Jr., RHP
Fernley, NV/Ferneley HS (Nevada)
Cumming put together 7.2 innings of work in a contest that saw Coppin State prevail 2-1 in a pitcher’s duel against Mercyhurst. The junior righty allowed just five hits and one earned run to earn the win on the mound. Cumming struck out seven batters and finished the game with a 1.174 WHIP. This is the fourth consecutive season that the Eagles have taken home a NEC Pitcher of the Week honor.
NEC BASEBALL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Isaac Brozon, Le Moyne

Aurora, NY/Southern Cayuga
Brozon brought the firepower on offense for Le Moyne as the freshman went 8-for-14 (.571) over the weekend. Brozon hit .500 and above during every game against the Hornets, including going 3-for-5 in two of the games.
