NEC MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ronin Lotlikar, Binghamton
Sr., Bengaluru, India/Gear Innovative
Lotlikar earned his third NEC Player of the Week nod after a perfect 3-0 week that saw Binghamton win both of its dual matches. Against Duquesne, Lotlikar won the top singles match against Enrique Lana, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. The Bengaluru, India native would win from the No. 1 spot again the next day against conference foe Saint Francis, defeating conference foe Kevin TItus Suresh, 6-4, 6-2. Lotlikar's wins improved his record in dual matches to 8-5, all of which have been in the No. 1 flight. The senior added a 6-2 doubles win alongside Harry Liao, besting Duquesne's Yu-Shun Lai and Alfrendo Vogelaar.

NEC MEN’S TENNIS CO-ROOKIES OF THE WEEK
Giannis Sakkas, Binghamton
Fr., Athens, Greece/American School of Greece
Sakkas becomes the second Binghamton Bearcat to win NEC Rookie of the Week honors after a 3-0 week. He defeated Duquesne's Teo Papadopoulos, 6-4, 7-5, at No. 6 singles, helping Binghamton defeat the Dukes by a 6-1 final. Sakkas added two more wins in a 6-1 victory over Saint Francis. The freshman knocked off Beau Welker, 6-4, 6-4, in the No. 5 match and paired with James McPherson to post a 6-4 win over Noah Potts and Mario Beckles at No. 3 doubles. The Bearcats are now 2-0 in conference play with their win over the Red Flash.

Lukas Escher, Wagner
Fr., Essen, Germany/Helmholtz-Gymnasium Essen
Escher continued his strong debut campaign with two wins against FDU, claiming his second NEC Rookie of the Week award in the process after helping guide the Green and White to 5-2 win over the Knights. The Essen, Germany product defeated Joshua Obiniye, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4, and put Wagner ahead 3-1 in the match. Escher was also a part of the lone victorious Seahawk doubles team, pairing with Eddie Schmidt to best Tyler Crook and Obiniye, 6-4. Escher has now won four singles matches in a row and sits at 9-3 on the season, playing a substantial role in Wagner's 7-4 start to the year.

NEC WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Anastasia Lim, FDU
Sr., Kazan, Russia
Lim made it three NEC Player of the Week accolades with strong performances in FDU victories over Wagner and Morgan State last week. The senior from Kazan, Russia started her week by defeating Wagner's Victoria Madail in a convincing 6-0, 6-4 result. She added another singles win to her resume with a hard-fought 6-7 (4-7), 7-6 (7-5), 1-0 (10-6) triumph over Morgan State's Michaela Stephens. Lim added two doubles wins as well, pairing with fellow senior Yelena Kim to defeat the Wagner duo of Madail and Dariana Vera (7-5) and the Morgan State pairing of Lauryn Hall and Marta Serra (6-3). 

NEC WOMEN’S TENNIS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Oleksandra Ovsiienko, FDU
Fr., Dnipro, Ukraine/Novoaleksandrivsky Lyceum
Ovsiienko collected her third NEC Rookie of the Week/Month award of the year with two singles wins. She bested Wagner's Alexia Estrada, 7-5, 6-1, and Morgan State's Marta Serra, 3-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-4). Both wins came from the No. 4 slot and improved Ovsiienko's singles record to 15-9 on the season.

Jorge Alonso-Cortes, Sr., FDU - Went 2-0 in singles play last week. Defeated Wagner's Vibhu Challagundla (6-3, 6-4) in the No. 5 slot and Morgan State's Isa Abdulraheem (6-3, 6-2) in the No. 6 match.

Lukas Escher, Fr., WAG - NEC Co-Rookie of the Week

Eddie Schmidt, So., WAG - Emerged victorious in both singles and doubles action against FDU. Knocked off Gryffin Minor, 6-1, 6-2, in the top singles match. Added a doubles win alongside Escher.

NEC WOMEN'S PRIME PERFORMERS

Yelena Kim, Sr., FDU - Went 4-0 across singles and doubles action. Picked up two singles wins from the No. 3 position, besting Wagner's Samantha Bentsianov (6-3, 6-2) and Morgan State's Amira Bargaoui (7-5, 6-4). Teamed with Lim for two doubles wins from the top doubles flight as well.

Oleksandra Ovsiienko, Fr., FDU - NEC Rookie of the Week.

Dasha Chichkina, So., SFU - Won both of her matches against Binghamton, Defeated Loren Cuomo, 7-5, 6-1. Paired with Helena Lynn to defeat Cuomo and Angel Walia, 6-3. Both wins came in the top flight.

Julie Holte, Jr., STO - Picked up four wins, splitting them between singles and doubles play. Bested both New Haven's Valentina Ferrarini (5-7, 6-2, 6-1) and Madail (6-3, 3-6, 6-3) at No. 1 singles. Teamed with Madison Warren to beat the New Haven pairing of Victoria Togores and Pierina Lescher (7-5) and the Wagner duo of Vera and Madail (6-3). Both doubles wins were from the No. 1 spot as well.
