Ovsiienko collected her third NEC Rookie of the Week/Month award of the year with two singles wins. She bested Wagner's Alexia Estrada, 7-5, 6-1, and Morgan State's Marta Serra, 3-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-4). Both wins came from the No. 4 slot and improved Ovsiienko's singles record to 15-9 on the season.
