NEC MEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jack Duncan-Bloom, VMI
Sr., A, Portland, OR/Jesuit
Duncan-Bloom was a scoring machine in VMI's 19-13 win over Mercyhurst on Saturday. The Portland, OR native netted a career-high six goals and added an assist for seven points. By the end of the first quarter, Duncan-Bloom already had himself a hat trick, helping the Keydets erupt for seven goals in the opening period. He added a ground ball to his box score for the afternoon. The senior has been a key cog in the NEC's most prolific offense thus far. VMI leads the league with 103 goals scored, 21 of which Duncan-Bloom was involved in. He has scored 15 and assisted on six to rank in the NEC top-10 in both categories.

NEC MEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nate Fechter, Robert Morris
Jr., G, Dresher, PA/Upper Dublin
Fechter was reliable between the pipes for the Colonials in their 11-6 win over Cleveland State on Saturday. The junior saved 15-of-21 Viking shots to maintain a save percentage of .714. He picked up a ground ball and caused a turnover as well. Fechter's finest efforts of the day came in the final period, with the Colonials attempting to preserve a three-goal lead. Fechter allowed just one goal in the final quarter while making four saves. He currently sits second in the NEC in save percentage at .541, but has upped his game during the first two conference matches. The Dresherm PA product has started the conference campaign with a league-best .667 save percentage by stopping 24-of-36 shots. Fechter has helped Robert Morris string together six consecutive victories and race out to a 2-0 start in league play.

NEC MEN’S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ethan Ostrowski, VMI
Fr., A, Annapolis, MD/Archbishop Spalding
Ostrowski continued his impressive debut campaign with a six-point outing in a triumph over Mercyhurst. The Annapolis, MD product scored four goals and assisted twice in VMI's 19-goal outburst. Ostrowski made sure the Keydets took advantage of their man-up opportunities, scoring three of his goals while VMI enjoyed a manpower advantage. His performance helped him reach 10 goals for the season. Ostrowski has totaled 13 points through eight games thus far.
 
NEC PRIME PERFORMERS

Robbie Stewart, Cleveland State (FO, Sr.) 
Went 15-of-20 from the faceoff circle for a .750 percentage and picked up seven ground balls. 

Canton Lanham, Detroit Mercy (FO, So.) 
Won 17-of-20 faceoffs against Wagner for a .850 percentage. Added seven ground balls. Currently sits second in the league in faceoff percentage (.568) and ground balls (48). 

Lucas Winger, Le Moyne (G, Jr.) 
Made 16 saves against LIU on Saturday and maintained a .640 save percentage. Picked up two ground balls and caused a turnover as well.

Shaun Hill, LIU (FO, Sr.)
Went 12-for-18 from the faceoff circle (.667 percent) in a 9-5 win over Le Moyne. Added six ground balls. Leads the NEC in faceoff percentage (.595) and is third in ground balls (45). Ranks 15th nationally in faceoff percentage.

Lincoln Norfolk, Mercyhurst (FO, So.)
Won 25-of-36 faceoffs against VMI to finish with a .694 percentage. Picked up a career-high 15 ground balls and caused a turnover. Sits third in the conference with a .566 faceoff percentage.

Chase Petschke, Mercyhurst (M, Sr.)
Tallied five points from a goal and four assists, and caused two turnovers vs. VMI. He currently ranks third in the league in assists with 13.

Calum Brennan, Robert Morris (A, Sr.)
Registered five goals and two ground balls against Cleveland State.

Nate Fechter, Robert Morris (G, Jr.)
NEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Beau Durkin, VMI (A/M, So.)
Recorded eight points on a hat trick and five assists. Logged one ground ball and caused one turnover.

Ethan Ostrowski, VMI (A, Fr.)
NEC Rookie of the Week.

Jake Mitchell, Wagner (M, Sr.)
Scored a hat trick in a 9-8 win over Detroit Mercy. Helped fend off a Titan comeback by netting the go-ahead goal with 6:13 left to play. Also picked up two ground balls. Tied for third in the league with 26 points.
