Dylan Anderson, Robert Morris

Anderson was the star of the show in Robert Morris' 16-12 home opener victory over Bucknell on Saturday. In an epic back-and-forth affair, the Canadian rookie racked up nine points from four goals and five assists. Anderson's two most important goals came in the final period, breaking a 10-10 deadlock at the 6:33 mark and icing the game with 2:13 left to put the Colonials up 14-11. His impressive effort was a historic one for Robert Morris, as his nine-point outburst tied for the second most in a game in program history.
NEC MEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kyle Grant, Detroit Mercy
Sr., D, Grand Rapids, MI/East Grand Rapids
Grant continued his strong start to the 2026 campaign with two quality defensive efforts against No. 19 Michigan and Hampton. Over those two games, the Grand Rapids, MI native caused 10 turnovers and picked up seven ground balls. Against the Wolverines, Grant caused four turnovers and scooped up three ground balls in an 11-7 loss where the Titans rallied from 9-2 down. The senior followed that performance up with one of his career-best games against Hampton. Grant tied his career-high for caused turnovers with six and collected four ground balls in an emphatic 20-8 win for Detroit Mercy over the Pirates.

Stewart won 15-of-21 on faceoffs (.714) and picked up eight ground balls against Bellarmine.
Kyle Grant, Detroit Mercy (D, Sr.)
NEC Defensive Player of the Week.
PJ O'Hanlon, Detroit Mercy (A, Fr.)
Scored seven goals across two games for Detroit Mercy, netting two goals against Michigan and five against Hampton.
Andrew Parker, Detroit Mercy (M, So.)
Tallied seven points from five goals and two assists across Detroit Mercy's two games last week. Recorded a hat trick against Michigan before adding two goals and two assists against Hampton. Also picked up three ground balls.
Marcus Thundercloud, Detroit Mercy (A, So.)
Registered eight points from four goals and four assists over two games, including three goals and four assists against Hampton. Scooped up three ground balls and caused a turnover as well.
Tyler Gresh, LIU (M, R-So.)
Made 12 saves, registered a .600 save percentage and recorded three ground balls in LIU's 9-8 win over Monmouth.
Chase Petschke, Mercyhurst (M, Sr.)
Totaled five points from four goals and an assist in Mercyhurst's 2OT loss to UMass Lowell.

Nate Fechter, Robert Morris (G, Jr.)
Made a league-best 20 saves and maintained a .625 save percentage in Robert Morris' win over Bucknell. Added eight ground balls and a caused turnover.
Owen Tapper, Robert Morris (D, Jr.)
Picked up five ground balls and caused three turnovers against Bucknell.
Jack Rogers, VMI (FO, Jr.)
Went 21-of-32 (.656) on faceoffs, picked up 12 ground balls and scored a goal against Mercer.
Jake Mitchell, Wagner (M, Sr.)
Tallied eight points on four goals and four assists over two games for Wagner last week. Netted four goals and two assists against Sacred Heart and two helpers against Manhattan.
