NEC MEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dayton Bagwell, VMI
Jr., A, York, PA/Central York
Bagwell was on fire for VMI during their two games last week against No. 20 Navy and Hampton. The junior netted an unbelievable seven goals in each game for a total of 14. Against Navy, Bagwell added an assist and a ground ball to fill up the box score to help the Keydets keep pace with the Midshipmen for much of the game in a 19-12 setback. He picked two ground balls against Hampton as well and guided VMI to a 17-15 win over the Pirates. The York, PA native's goal scoring rampage has registered 21 goals in four games this season. His average of 5.25 goals per game ranks first in the NEC and fourth in the nation. Bagwell has now won the NEC Player of the Week award twice in his career.

NEC MEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tyler Davide, LIU
Sr., D, Nesconset, NY/Sachem North
Davide was a force to be reckoned with during LIU's 16-10 win over Iona on Saturday. The senior caused three turnovers and picked up five ground balls to help the Sharks jump out to a 3-0 start on the season. Davide's 1.67 caused turnovers per game so far this season is fourth best in the NEC, as he anchors an LIU defense that ranks first in the league in goals allowed. Davide became the second LIU player in three weeks to win the NEC Defensive Player of the Week, joining goalkeeper Tyler Gresh.

NEC MEN’S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Dylan Popehn, Wagner
Fr., A, Andover, MN/Benilde-St. Margaret's
Popehn had a productive week on offense for the Green and White over two games. The Andover, MN product tallied four points from three goals and an assist, adding two ground balls and a caused turnover. Popehn's best performance came against Monmouth on Tuesday, netting two goals and an assist. He now has seven points on the year and sits in a tie for sixth in league in goals scored with six.
 
NEC PRIME PERFORMERS

Justin Dalum, Cleveland State (G, Sr.) 
Made 18 saves against Marquette, maintaining a .667 save percentage. Picked up four ground balls as well.

Canton Lanham, Detroit Mercy (FO, So.) 
Won 15 of 23 faceoffs and picked up six ground balls against Bellarmine. Sits third in the NEC in faceoff percentage so far this season at .566.

Tyler Davide, LIU (D, Sr.) 
NEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Ben McIsaac, LIU (A, Jr.)
Tallied six points from a hat trick and three assists in LIU's win over Iona. Ranks second in the conference in points per game (4.00) and fourth in goals scored (8).

Aidan Zuhoski, LIU (M, Jr.)
Amassed five points from a hat trick and two assists against Iona. Picked up a ground ball in that game.

Mason Blakeman, Mercyhurst (A, Sr.)
Scored five goals and scooped up a ground ball over two games, including a hat trick in Mercyhurst's 10-8 win over Canisius. Currently tied for second in the league in goals scored (9). 

Robert Madden, Mercyhurst (A, Sr.)
Registered six points from four goals and two assists over two games. Registered four points on two goals and two assists against Canisius. Added a ground ball and a caused turnover.

Calum Brennan, Robert Morris (A, Sr.)
Netted four goals and picked up two ground balls over two games against St. Bonaventure and Canisius.

Dayton Bagwell, VMI (A, Jr.)
NEC Player of the Week.

Nate Golding, VMI  (M, Sr.)
Picked up seven ground balls and totaled two points over two games. Scored a goal against Hampton and registered an assist against Navy.
