NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Emma Radoncic, Jr., M., Central Connecticut
Ridgefield, NJ/Ridgefield Memorial
Radoncic was the deciding factor in Central Connecticut's lone match last week, a 2-1 comeback victory over Mercyhurst on Thursday. The junior scored an awe-inspiring game-winning goal in the 80th minute of the match, bending a lefty shot into the top left corner from outside the box. Radoncic's strike made the SportsCenter Top-10 that evening. The Ridgefield, NJ native's efforts helped keep the Blue Devils unbeaten in conference play with a 4-0-2 mark.
Katia Cardaba, Jr., M., FDU
Madrid, Spain/Colegios Ramón y Cajal
Cardaba played a large role in FDU's impressive 4-0 road win at Chicago State on Sunday afternoon. In the second half, the midfielder from Madrid, Spain scored twice in 10 minutes to help the Knights establish control of their match against the Cougars. Cardaba bagged her third brace in the last six games and leapfrogged teammate Marina Burzaco on the NEC goal scoring leaderboard, moving into third with seven markers so far this season. The junior is also fourth in the NEC with 15 points this season.
NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Azjah Tocher, Jr., GK, Delaware State
Eugene, OR/Willamette
Tocher logged 180 minutes in goal last week, backstopping Delaware State to a pair of wins. The Eugene, OR product posted a shutout in Thursday’s 1-0 victory over Chicago State, then stood tall in Sunday’s 2-1 road win at New Haven. She allowed just one goal across the two matches and saved nine of the 10 shots she faced. Tocher now has two clean sheets on the season and has recorded five or more saves in a match on three occasions. She is the second Hornets keeper to win the NEC Defensive Player of the Week award this season, following Johoanna Hornyak’s selection on August 18.
NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Brooklyn Menard, Fr., F, LIU
Gatineau, Quebec, Canada/Philemon Wright
Menard garnered her second NEC Rookie of the Week award after scoring in both of LIU's wins last week. Despite playing just a combined 66 minutes in the two matches, Menard netted the opening goals in the Sharks' 2-1 win over New Haven on Thursday and the 2-0 conquest of Le Moyne on Sunday. The freshman now has seven points from three goals and an assist in her rookie campaign.

Alyssa Peregrino, Fr., F., Delaware State
Peregrino scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute of Delaware State's 1-0 win over Chicago State on Thursday. The freshman now has four points from two goals this season.

Ana Salas, Jr., M., FDU
Salas put together a three-point performance in FDU's 4-0 win at Chicago State on Sunday. The junior was involved in the first two goals of the match, scoring the first and assisting on the second. Salas ranks second in the NEC in assists (6) and fifth in points (12). She has registered a point in five of her last six matches, and registered multiple points in three of those contests.
Trinity Knox, Jr., GK., Howard
Knox registered 147 minutes between the woodwork this week and was lights out. The reigning NEC Goalkeeper of the Year kept a shutout in Howard's scoreless draw against Stonehill on Sunday and did not allow a goal in the 47 minutes she played against Le Moyne on Thursday. Knox kept her scoreless streak intact last week, not having allowed a goal over the last 238 minutes she has played. The junior leads the NEC in save percentage (.821) and is second in goals against average (.876).

NEC Rookie of the Week
Keely Thomas, R-Jr., GK., LIU
The two-time NEC Defensive Player of the Week in 2025 allowed just one goal across two games last week. Thomas kept a clean sheet on Sunday in LIU's 2-0 win over Le Moyne and helped the Sharks stay unbeaten in NEC play (5-0-2). Thomas has now earned Prime Performer honors three times this season and ranks third in the NEC in both goals against average (1.00) and save percentage (.814).
Allie Sougaris, So., GK., Stonehill
Sougaris kept a clean sheet in Stonehill's lone match this week, a scoreless draw with Howard. The sophomore made four saves against the Bison. Sougaris has now been named a Prime Performer for the third time this season.
Kelly Gallagher, So., F., Wagner
Gallagher scored the opening goal in Wagner's 3-0 win over Saint Francis on Sunday afternoon. She was a constant scoring threat throughout the match, registering seven shots, four of which were on goal.
