NEC WOMEN'S CO-SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Sophie Milhomens, Central Connecticut
Jr., Wolcott, CT/Wolcott

Milhomens played a large role in Central Connecticut's tri-meet wins over Wagner and Southern Connecticut State on October 31. The Wolcott, CT native won both the 100 back and 200 back events. Milhomens posted a time of 57.94 in the 100 back, which placed her third on the league's performance list this season. Milhomens bested that effort in the 200 back with a conference-best time of 2:04.72. The junior also swam the leadoff leg of a 200 medley relay, registering a 50 back time of 27.53.

Mia Goodale, Wagner
So., Waterlooville, England/Kings School

Goodale emerged victorious in all four events she participated in at Wagner's tri-meet against Central Connecticut and Southern Connecticut State. She won the 100 free (52.02), 200 free (1:53.31), 500 free (5:10.01) and was a member of the 200 medley relay team that won its event. Goodale's performance in the 200 free was the fastest time in the NEC this season. The junior has now been named NEC Swimmer of the Week on two occasions.

NEC WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Gabby Williams, Le Moyne
So., Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville

Williams collected her third NEC Diver of the Week award with a strong performance against Roberts Wesleyan. The Scotia, NY product scored 253.80 points to place first in the 1-meter dive, and registered a 248.45 to finish second on the 3-meter board.

NEC WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alyssa Napier, Howard
Fr., Wilmington, DE

Napier continued the strong start to her collegiate career by winning all three of her events in a dual meet with American. The rookie posted a time of 52.70 in the 100 free and 1:54.49 in the 200 free. Napier's time in the latter category is the third-fastest in the league this year. She also contributed to a Howard win in the 200 free relay. Napier has now won the NEC Rookie of the Week award twice.

NEC MEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Florian Schumich, Wagner
So.,
Schumich was victorious in all four events he swam in Wagner's dual meet win over Southern Connecticut State on October 31. The sophomore placed first in the 1000 free and the 200 breast events, as well as contributing to wins in the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay. In the 1000 free, Schumich touched the wall at 9:54.23, marking a conference-best time in that event. He clocked a 2:11.49 in the 200 breast.

NEC MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Kai Lawson, Howard
Fr., Bethesda, MD
Lawson's performance on the diving board in Howard's 146-80 win over American earned him his first career NEC weekly award. He finished as the runner-up in the event after scoring a 249.65 on the 1-meter board.

NEC MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Owen Daniels, Le Moyne
Fr., Rhinebeck, NY/Red Hook

Daniels won two of his individual events against Roberts Wesleyan and helped the Dolphins secure a comfortable 205-89 win at the meet. The Rhinebeck, NY native fnished first in both the 50 back (25.10) and the 100 back (53.49), with the latter time being the sixth-best in the league this fall. Daniels also swam in the 400 IM, finishing third. His time of 4:25.84 ranked him sixth on the conference performance chart.

NEC WOMEN'S PRIME PERFORMERS

  • vs. Wagner and Southern Connecticut State.
  • Placed first in the 1-meter dive with a score of 236.25.
  • Scored 232.25 to claim victory on the 3-meter board.
Sophie Milhomens, Jr., Central Connecticut
  • NEC Co-Swimmer of the Week.
Izzy Vega, Fr., Central Connecticut
  • vs. Wagner and Southern Connecticut State.
  • Finished first in the 1000 free, touching the wall at 10:57.56. That time was the third-fastest in the NEC this season.
  • Placed fourth in the 500 free.
Alyssa Napier, Fr., Howard
  • NEC Rookie of the Week
Gabby Williams, So., Le Moyne
  • NEC Diver of the Week.
Mia Goodale, So., Wagner
  • NEC Co-Swimmer of the Week.
Gaya Savran, So., Wagner
  • vs. Central Connecticut and Southern Connecticut State.
  • Won the 100 fly with a final time of 58.53.
  • Clocked in at 2:07.09 in the 200 fly, placing first.
  • Finished fourth in the 200 back.
  • Saw victory in the 200 medley relay.

  • Dual meet vs. American. 
  • Won the 100 back with a 52.74 mark. 
  • Helped his 200 medley relay and 200 free teams win their respective races.
Owen Daniels, Fr., Le Moyne
  • NEC Rookie of the Week.
Adam Kaszovitz, Jr., Le Moyne
  • Dual meet vs. Roberts Wesleyan.
  • Placed first on the 1-meter board with a score of 230.00.
  • Won the 3-meter dive after scoring 233.15.
Michael White, So., Le Moyne
  • Dual meet vs. Roberts Wesleyan.
  • Set a pool-record time of 47.70 in the 100 free, finishing first.
  • Came in first in the 100 fly with a final time of 51.60, putting him fourth on the NEC leaderboard in that event.
  • Aided his 200 free relay and 200 medley relay teams to wins in their events, clocking a 21.66 for his leg of the free relay and a 21.48 as the anchor leg of the medley relay.
