NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Hannah Anselmo, Sr., F., Stonehill
Fall River, MA/Bishop Connolly
Anselmo had two outstanding performances for Stonehill last week in guiding the Skyhawks to a pair of wins. The Fall River, MA native netted back-to-back braces, marking the fifth time she has scored two or more goals in a match this season. Anselmo netted the first two goals in Stonehill's 3-0 win over Delaware State on Thursday, and then followed by scoring two equalizers against Mercyhurst on Sunday in a 3-2 comeback win for the Skyhawks. The senior created some distance between herself and the rest of the conference in the goal scoring and points leaderboards. She has amassed a league leading 13 goals and 27 points. Anselmo is currently tied for fourth in the nation in goals, fifth in goals per game (0.87), as well as 12th in points per game (1.80). The reigning NEC Player of the Year has now earned her second NEC Player of the Week nod of the year.

NEC WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The two-time NEC Goalkeeper of the Year is first in the NEC in save percentage (.826), tied for first in the NEC in shutouts (three), and second in goals against average (.894). The sophomore's first goal of the season was an important one, keeping Stonehill's playoff hopes alive.
