NEC MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Nate Roberman, FDU
Jr., Marlboro, NJ/Marloboro
Roberman wrapped up his fall season with a strong month of October. The Marlboro, NJ native went a combined 8-3 across singles and doubles, going 5-1 in singles and 3-2 in doubles. Roberman picked up some impressive singles wins in that span, defeating players from Sacred Heart, Holy Cross and Hofstra. His most notable win came against Penn State's Ludwig Hermann, taking the match in straight sets (6-3, 7-6 (7-5)). In doubles, Roberman paired with Adavait Mantri to defeat a duo from Stonehill (6-3), and teamed with Matias Neira to best teams from Quinnipiac (6-1) and Army/Lehigh (6-2). All of Roberman's singles wins in October came in straight sets, giving the junior serious momentum heading into the spring season.
NEC MEN’S TENNIS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Adavait Mantri, FDU

Mantri continued his excellent start to his collegiate career by earning his second consecutive NEC Rookie of the Month award. The rookie compiled a combined record of 7-5 during October, posting a 4-2 mark in singles and a 3-3 record in doubles. In singles, Mantri's best win came against Holy Cross' Aayush Jhaveri, taking the match in comeback fashion with a 3-6, 6-2, 10-8 result. Mantri will look to build upon his strong start as the Knights look towards the 2027 spring season.
NEC WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Katsiaryna Kostsina, FDU
Sr., Minsk, Belarus
Kostsina notched one of the most impressive wins of her career last month, besting Syracuse' Haram Kim in straight sets (6-4, 6-2). Kostsina finished the fall campaign with a combined 11-5 record, going 7-2 in singles and 4-3 in doubles alongside Laura Galeano. Kostsina and Galeano picked up a win against a fellow NEC duo last month, besting LIU's Mia Tsoukalas and Mori Grylak (8-5). Kostsina and FDU now head into the spring season aiming to continue their impressive fall form.
NEC WOMEN’S TENNIS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Jessica McLean, Binghamton
Fr., Pembroke Pines, FL/Archbishop McCarthy
McLean built upon her title win at the NateRentals.com Binghmaton Championships by collecting four wins in the month of October to earn back-to-back NEC Rookie of the Month nods. In singles, the Floridian defeated a pair of Fairfield players, besting Regina Herrera (6-2, 4-6, 10-8) and Victoria Mandma (6-3, 6-3). McLean picked up a pair of doubles wins as well, splitting them between Sophie Popescu and Michelle Rosenblit. McLean will now look to wrap up her fall campaign with a strong performance at the ITA Conference Masters on Nov. 5-8.
NEC MEN'S PRIME PERFORMERS
Filipe Costa, Sr., BING - Went 2-0 in singles in October, collecting two straight-sets wins over Fairfield. Made the doubles quarterfinals of the ITA New England Regionals alongside Harry Liao, besting teams from Boston U, Harvard and Boston College along the way before narrowly falling to Brown's Ivan Sodan/Robert Yang (8-6).
Radu Filipache, Fr., BING - Compiled a combined record of 5-2 across singles and doubles. Posted a 2-1 singles record and 3-1 in doubles.
Harry Liao, So., BING - Reached the doubles quarterfinals of the ITA New England Regionals alongside Filipe Costa, defeating seeded opponents from Harvard (No. 4) and Boston College (No. 11) in the process. Registered a 4-2 doubles record for the month.

Ko Nagashima, Fr., FDU - Went 5-1 in singles with wins over Sacred Heart, Holy Cross, Hofstra and Lehigh.
Nate Roberman, Jr., FDU - NEC Player of the Month.
Asaf Schwartz, Jr., FDU - Combined for a 7-3 record in October. Posted a 3-2 singles record and 4-1 doubles mark.
Carlo Zucchini, So., LEM - Recorded a 5-2 singles record with wins over players from Colgate, Hamilton, Cornell, Monmouth and Iona.
Nicolas Arredondo, Jr., STO - Compiled a 4-1 combined record. Went 3-1 in doubles alongside Joao Machado and collected a singles win against Holy Cross' Lucas Bikkesbakker (7-5, 6-3).
Joao Machado, Fr., STO - Went a combined 5-1 in October, collecting singles wins over Holy Cross and Army. Posted a 3-1 doubles record while pairing with Nicolas Arredondo.
Lukas Escher, R-So., WAG - Won singles bouts against Monmouth's Aidan Miller (6-2, 6-4) and Iona's Andrew Foong (6-4, 6-1).
