Escher got his sophomore campaign off to a hot start at the NateRentals.com Binghamton Championships. The 2026 NEC Rookie of the Year will represent the NEC at the ITA Conference Masters tournament after winning the "A" singles flight at the Binghamton Championships. Escher knocked off the likes of LIU's Leo Lazarides and Binghamton's Harry Liao on the way to the semifinals. After reaching the final four alongside teammates Nicola Bottelberghs and Eddie Schmidt, Escher bested Bottelberghs in the semifinal and Schmidt in the final. The Essen, Germany native also paired with former All-NEC First Teamer and Wagner newcomer Tyler Nguyen and went to the "A" doubles final, only falling to Schmidt and Bottelberghs in an all-Wagner affair. Escher, a key contributor to Wagner's title run in 2026, laid the foundation for a strong 2027 season for the Green and White.

Mantri started his collegiate career strong for FDU. The rookie from Singapore went a perfect 6-0 in singles in September and won the "D" singles flight at the Binghamton Championships. Mantri picked up wins over players from Colgate and St. Bonaventure at the Joe Hunt Invite. At the Binghamton Championships, Mantri bested Chicago State's Esi Molefe (6-3, 6-4) and Stonehill's Hayden Grech (7-6, 6-1) in straight sets before defeating Le Moyne's Lorenzo Bortolaso (2-6, 7-6, 10-0) in the final.

McLean became the second freshman in a row to claim the NateRentals.com Binghamton Championships "A" flight title and qualify for the ITA Conference Masters tournament. The Pembroke Pines, FL native became the first player in Binghamton's program history to win the event, triumphing over Le Moyne's Ashikha Amalnathan (6-1, 7-6) in the Round of 16. From the quarterfinals onwards, McLean beat three of the best players from FDU, the top seed in the 2026 NEC Championships. She defeated Julia Fix (6-1, 6-2), reigning Binghamton Championships "A" flight champion Oleksandra Ovsiienko (6-4, 3-6, 6-4) and the 2026 NEC Rookie of the Year Sophia Fredericks-McKee (2-6, 7-5, 7-5). Prior to her championship run, McLean went 3-0 in singles at the Carousel Classic, besting players from both Buffalo and Colgate. She also went 4-2 in doubles throughout the month, including a Binghamton Championships Round of 16 win against Fix and Fredericks-McKee alongside Apara Khandare (6-1).
