Northeast Conference action opened up this past week and two players shined as their respective teams went 2-0 in league play. Senior Ken Horton was nothing less than spectacular as he combined for 62 points and earned his seventh career Choice Hotels/NEC Player of the Week honor. On the rookie side, Robert Morris’ Lucky Jones, a New Jersey native, showed off his talents to two home-state foes, averaging 12.0 points and 6.5 rebounds off the bench to capture the rookie of the week title.
