Bridgewater, NJ -- Four NEC men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams earned CSCAA Academic All-America Team Honors, the organization announced on July 6.

The spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams, presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps, recognized 714 teams from 418 institutions for their outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester. Collectively, these teams represented 16,680 student-athletes from across all collegiate divisions.

To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Spring 2026 semester. 

On the women’s side, Central Connecticut, Howard and Stonehill earned the accolade, while Howard achieved the honor on the men’s side.

Central Connecticut has now notched the award in 47 consecutive semesters, compiling a team-average GPA of 3.45 in the spring.

Stonehill earned the nod for the eighth time in program history with a 3.44 GPA.

Howard’s men and women posted 3.33 and 3.28 GPAs, respectively.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America - is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
