CENTRAL CONNECTICUT 49, ROBERT MORRIS 14
Opening the game with a commanding 35-0 run, Central Connecticut cruised to a 49-14 win over visiting Robert Morris to improve to 4-0 in NEC play. Racking up 341 yards on the ground and five rushing scores, the Blue Devils’ running game paced an offense that put up 40-or-more points for the fourth-straight outing.

DUQUESNE 41, NEW HAVEN 14
Sophomore wide receiver Ryan Petras set the tone with back-to-back touchdown catches within the first nine minutes of action to lead Duquesne to a 41-14 league win at New Haven on Saturday. Powered by a monstrous performance by graduate quarterback Carson Camp, who accounted for each of his team’s six touchdowns (three passing, three rushing), the Dukes outgained the Chargers by a 488-255 margin in the triumph.

STONEHILL 34, MERCYHURST 28
Stonehill’s torrid 27-0 run to go up 20 points was nearly spoiled by Mercyhurst, but the Skyhawks held off the Lakers’ comeback bid and walked away with a 34-28 victory inside W.B. Mason Stadium on Saturday. Sophomore tight end Sha’lik Hampton caught a pair of late touchdown passes less than two minutes apart from junior quarterback Alex Gevaudan but it was too little too late for the Lakers as the Skyhawks were able to run out the clock and secure the league triumph.

Merrimack 19, WAGNER 14
Wagner took a late 14-13 edge on a 19-yard touchdown catch from junior tight end Johans Bars, but Merrimack answered with a late scoring strike with 3:26 left to play to secure the 19-14 win at Duane Stadium. Redshirt sophomore running back Matt Morad paced the Seahawks with a career-high 91 rushing yards and a rushing score on 13 carries.

CHICAGO STATE 80, Fort Lauderdale 17
Chicago State ran past Fort Lauderdale by an 80-17 final at SeatGeek Stadium on Saturday. Senior running back Tre’ Hartwell ran for four touchdowns while fifth-year quarterback Jacob Tiberi threw for three scores to pace the Cougars’ offense.
