NEC BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Keneston became the first Dolphin to take home a NEC Baseball Player of the Week award after a stellar performance in Le Moyne’s weekend series at Radford. The sophomore catcher batted .308 (4-for-13), scored two runs, drove in six runs and added a double. He also recorded a .901 OPS over the weekend. During game one of the series, Keneston drove in the go ahead run to give Le Moyne a 7-6 lead in the top of the 10th inning. The Dolphins scored one more run to win the series opener, 8-6, in extra innings.  
  
NEC BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK 
Brayden Ryan, Merrimack
R-Fr., RHP
Salem, NH/Lawrence Academy
Making one start on the road against VCU, Ryan pitched four scoreless innings, allowing no hits and striking out three batters. The redshirt freshman walked three batters and let four runners on base. Ryan posted a .750 WHIP in the start.

  

NEC BASEBALL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Taunton, MA/Taunton High School
Bryce hit .308 (4-for-13) in Merrimack’s weekend series at VCU. The freshman scored four runs, while adding a double and a stolen base in three games. Bryce plated a run in the Warriors’ 16-12 win over the Rams.
