Stotler earned a pair of gold medals, including a 2:09.93 (ranks 2nd in the NEC) with an approximate three second cushion in the 200-yard individual medely. She followed with a second individual victory, touching the wall in 2:23.93 (ranks 1st in the NEC) in the 200-yard breastroke with a whopping 10.03 second gap.
NEC WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Zoe Baker, Central Connecticut
So., West Hartford, CT/Hall
In a dual meet against Stony Brook on Saturday, Baker helped lead a 1-2-3 sweep from the 3-meter board and a 1-2 sweep from the 1-meter board for CCSU. In the 1-meter dive, the sophomore from West Hartford, CT earned a silver medal with a score of 219.00, followed by a gold medal in the 3-meter dive after posting a 229.20.
NEC WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Lara Wielkiewicz, LIU
Fr., Budapest, Hungary/Vörösmarty Mihály
In a dual meet against Iona on Friday, LIU logged a 150-112 home victory. Wielkiewicz grabbed her first win of the year in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:12.60 that ranks fifth in the NEC. The rookie from Budapest, Hungary also placed third in the 100-yard butterfly, touching in 1:00.16, which ranks sixth in the league.
NEC MEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Giannis Venetos, LIU
Sr., Vouliagmeni, Athens, Greece/Kessaris
Venetos was impressive last Friday in LIU's dual match setback to Iona in its home opener. The senior from Vouliagmeni, Athens, Greece came out victorious in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.00, which ranks second in the league. Venetos won the 200-yard breakstroke with a league-leading time of 2:10.20. He also swam the second leg on the Sharks' 200-yard medley relay team that registered a winning time of 1:34.60.
NEC MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Patrick Scott, Le Moyne
So., Utica, NY/New Hartford (Niagara)
In a 1-1 week for Le Moyne, Scott first took gold and silver from the diving platforms in a loss at Colgate on Friday. The sophomore from Utica, NY totaled 235.75 points for a top finish in the 1-meter dive, followed by a second place finish in the 3-meter five racking up 194.15 points. In a 178-108 victory over Saint Michael's on Saturday, Scott earned a pair of gold medals from the 1-meter board. In the first go-around from the 1-meter dive he totaled 167.25 points, then bested his score by almost 100 points, collecting 265.50 points.
NEC MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Justin Enser, Le Moyne
Fr., Hilton, NY/Hilton
In a Friday dual meet against Colgate, Enser took home a pair of gold medals. The rookie from Hilton, NY swam a 21.99 in the 50-yard freestyle, a time that ranks seventh in the NEC. He followed with a first place finish with the 200-yard freestyle relay squad in 1:28.28. In Saturday's dual meet victory over Saint Michael's, Enser collected four gold medals on the day. In the 400-yard medley relay, he led off and set the pace for the Dolphins, who won in 3:37.8. He followed up with an individual win in the 100-yard backstroke, touching the wall in 53.10, which ranks third in the conference. Enser swam a 48.15 in the 100-yard freestyle for the seventh-best mark in the NEC and concluded his weekend swimming the third leg of Le Moyne's winning 400-yard freestyle relay team.

- Bashor won the 100-yard butterfly, finishing in 58.05 against Iona, which ranks second in the NEC. The junior also placed third in the 50-yard freestyle, touching in 25.67. Bashor's first and third place finishes helped LIU to a 150-112 home victory.
Mariajose Lopez Lizarraga, Gr., LIU
- In a dual meet against Iona, Lizarraga took gold in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:38.01 to rank second in the NEC. She followed with a first palce finish in the 500-yard freestyle, touching in 5:15.61.
Aurem Pifarre, Jr., SFU
- In a dual win against Millersville, Pifarre took first in both individual events she competed in and set pool records in the process. In the 200-yard freestyle, she won with a time of 1:56.92 that ranks sixth in the NEC. She also won the 500-yard freestyle with a league-best time of 5:09.94. Pifarre was also a member of a 200-yard freestyle relay that placed second with a time of 1:42.13.
Sara Turner, So., SFU
- Turner set a pool record in the 200-yard butterfly with a first place time of 2:09.92. She also won the 200-yard individual medley, setting a pool record time of 2:12.32 that sits fourth in the NEC. Turner also competed on the 200-yard medley relay team that placed third with a time of 1:54.94.

Dani Chocano Fernandez, Sr., LIU
- Fernandez earned his third individual triumph on the year, taking gold in the 200-yard individual medley against Iona with a time of 1:56.77 which ranks second in the NEC. He also placed second in the 1000-yard freestyle for a top NEC time of 9:51.13. He is the only swimmer in the league to swim the event in under ten minutes.
