NEC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ISIAH DAUBON, SACRED HEART
So., OF, L/R, 6-0, 205 lbs, Highland, NY/Highland
WEEK 7 STATS:
4 starts, .467 BA (7-for-15), 2 HR, 2 2B, 3 BB, 5 RBI, 4 runs, 1.000 slugging pct., .600 OBP
Daubon produced at least one hit and one run in each of Sacred Heart’s four games last week while reaching base at a .600 clip. The second-year Pioneer hit two doubles and two dingers en-route to a 1.000 slugging percentage. Daubon went 6-for-12 (.500) at the dish while driving in five runs during a NEC series victory over Fairleigh Dickinson. He reached base safely 10 times and scored three runs during the three-game set. Daubon ignited a near-comeback during the series opener, an eventual 6-5 setback for SHU. The sophomore outfielder, who connected on a RBI single in the fifth inning, pulled the Pioneers within one run of the Knights by blasting a two-run bomb with no outs in the ninth inning. Daubon homered again in the first frame of the series’ second game, connecting on a two-run shot that sparked Sacred Heart on the way to a 13-6 victory. Batting in the No. 3 spot, Daubon logged two hits, two walks and two runs in the series finale. In a mid-week battle against A-10 member Fordham, Daubon produced a two-out single in the fourth inning, stole a base and came around to score on an infield hit.

NEC PITCHER OF THE WEEK
NEIL ABBATIELLO, WAGNER
Sr., LHP, 6-0, 170 lbs, North Salem, NY/Dobbs Ferry
WEEK 7 STATS:
1 start, 8.0 IP, 1 R, 6 H, 3 K, 4 BB Abbatiello kept the Blue Devils’ bats at bay during the middle game of a NEC weekend series. The veteran lefty did not surrender an extra-base hit while limiting the opposition to one run over 8.0 innings in a 4-2 victory. Snapping the Seahawks’ three-game slide, Abbatiello went deeper into his start than any other NEC hurler last week. The senior southpaw scattered six singles and worked around four walks while striking out three batters. After surrendering back-to-back one-out singles in the second inning, Abbatiello did not allow another hit over the next 3.2 frames.

NEC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
JUSTIN JORDAN, SACRED HEART
Fr., OF, L/L, 5-11, 165 lbs, Darien, CT/Darien
WEEK 7 STATS:
4 starts, .421 BA (8-for-19), HR, 5 RBI, 6 runs, .476 OBP Jordan hit safely while driving in at least one run in all of the Pioneers’ four games last week. He produced some noteworthy numbers during SHU’s three-game set against Fairleigh Dickinson, accounting for seven hits, six runs and four RBI. The left-handed swinging outfielder, who recorded at least two hits, two runs and one RBI in each of the three contests against FDU, batted .467 (7-for-15) during the weekend series. Jordan opened the scoring in Game 2, legging out an inside-the-park home run in the first inning. Following his leadoff homer, he went on to reach base safely three more times during the 13-6 triumph. The freshman returned to the leadoff spot for the series finale and connected on two hits, including a RBI single that tied the score at 4-4 in the second inning.
