NEC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER & ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jacob Labovitz, Fairleigh Dickinson
Fr., F, Great Falls, VA/Langley

Labovitz became the first freshman this season to earn dual NEC Player & Rookie of the Week honors after scoring two goals last week for the Knights. The freshman forward scored what proved to be the game-winner in the 63rd minute of FDU’s 2-1 win over Howard last Tuesday. This past Monday, Labovitz was able to shake his defender, collect a pass and find the lower left corner of the netting to open the scoring just five minutes into a 1-1 draw with LIU Brooklyn. The Great Falls, VA native is now tied for the team lead in goals (six) and ranks second on the Knights in points (13), who can clinch a spot in the NEC Tournament with a win over Sacred Heart on Friday.

NEC  PRIME PERFORMERS

- St. Francis Brooklyn sophomore forward Kieran Young (Archfield, Scotland/North Berwick) scored his first career goal in the Terriers’ 1-0 overtime win against Bryant on Monday. The win clinched a spot in the NEC Tournament for St. Francis Brooklyn, who have now made the tournament in each of the last five seasons.
