Though a Baltimore native, Hall has made a name for himself up I-95 in the city of Philadelphia in each of the past two years. In last year’s meeting between St. Francis and La Salle, Hall rushed for 247 yards in a 23-16 victory. Less than a year later, Hall once again punished the Explorers in the City of Brotherly Love, carrying a school-record 47 times for 248 yards and two touchdowns in the Red Flash’s 33-27 win over La Salle on Saturday. In the process, he surpassed Ted Helsel to become the Red Flash’s all-time leading rusher with 2,171 yards. With St. Francis leading 21-14 with 10:40 to play in the final quarter, Hall accounted for 68 yards on a seven play, 70-yard drive that he capped with a one-yard scoring plunge. Following an interception, the senior put the Red Flash up 33-14 on a five-yard scamper with 6:42 on the clock. With his performance, Hall jumped from 11th to seventh on the NEC career rushing list and became one of just 11 players in league history to reach the 2,000-yard rushing plateau.
