Bowden posted double-doubles in both matches last week to lead the Blue Devils to a 1-1 showing. In a five-game win at Dartmouth, she had career-highs in kills (23) and digs (17) to go along with a .346 hitting percentage, four blocks and two aces. In a setback to Syracuse (3-1), Bowden tallied 13 kills, 14 digs and one block. For the week, she compiled 36 kills, two aces, five blocks and 31 digs, while hitting .281. The consistent play of the British Columbia native is one of the big reasons CCSU is off to its best-ever start at 13-3. On the year, Bowden is averaging 3.09 kills per game and 2.86 digs per game to rank among the league leaders.
