Bell takes home her first NEC Player of the Week honor to start the 2003 season, after having won three Rookie of the Week accolades in 2002. She was named to the RMU/Duquesne all-tournament team after leading the Colonials to a 3-1 mark in the weekend tournament. Bell posted triple-doubles over Davidson (10 kills, 11 digs, 21 assists), St. Peter’s (14 kills, 11 digs, 21 assists) and Loyola (MD) (12 kills, 10 digs, 15 assists), while also recording match-highs in kills in all three wins. She also tallied six kills, nine digs and 13 assists in a 3-0 setback to Eastern Michigan. Bell, an all-around threat on the floor, hit .244 with 42 kills, 41 digs, 70 assists and five service aces during the tournament.
