Fr., M/F, 5-6, Massapequa, NY/Massapequa
McCavanagh is named NEC Rookie of the Week after tallying three points in the Blue Devils 2-0 win over Hartford last Sunday at the Connecticut Women s College Soccer Extravaganza. She netted what ended up being the game-winning goal only 2:23 into the contest off a deflection and then assisted on Tara O Brien s insurance goal at the start of the second half. Both the goal and assist were the first of McCavanagh s collegiate career and with three points on the year, the Massapequa native currently leads CCSU in scoring.
