Gomez made the most of his first two starts of the year, as he netted a goal in victories over both Long Island and Princeton last week for the #12 ranked Knights. In the FDU’s showdown with LIU last Wednesday, Gomez staked his squad to an early 1-0 lead by knocking in a header in the contest’s fourth minute, as the Knights would go on to post a dramatic 2-1 overtime win. Gomez followed-up that performance by netting his second goal of the week versus Princeton on Sunday, as FDU would go on to beat the Tigers, 4-1.
