Ayoub helped keep the Blackbirds undefeated in NEC play this season (4-0-1) as he scored the game-winning goal in overtime as LIU topped Quinnipiac, 1-0, on Sunday. Ayoub registered the game-winner on a wind-aided clear from goalkeeper Ryszard Gorksi during the 92nd minute. Ayoub’s goal, his second of the season, enabled the Blackbirds to run their unbeaten string to eight (7-0-1) and continue their best NEC start since the 1992 campaign.
