Pape collected 28 points, nine boards, three assists and six steals to guide the Pioneers to a 79-68 win over intra-state rival Yale on Wednesday evening. She shot 8-12 from the field, 1-2 from three-point range and 11-12 from the line. In SHU’s convincing 71-47 win over Princeton on Saturday, Pape played 23 minutes and added six points, three rebounds and three steals. Remarkably, the rookie is leading the Pioneers in scoring (16.7 ppg), field-goal percentage (55.7%) and steals (3.5 spg) this season.
