In his short career, Alston has already provided Monmouth with a tremendous spark off the bench. This was no more evident than in the Hawks’ 89-76 win at Siena last Tuesday. Alston scored seven points and established career-highs with six rebounds and five assists in 20 minutes of play. His 61.5 percent shooting from the floor this season leads all NEC freshman and ranks him sixth in the conference. Five games into his career, the Neptune, NJ product is averaging 8.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest for the Hawks.
