The junior averaged a league-best 5.00 digs per set for the Sharks, who created some separation atop the NEC standings with a pair of wins at second-place FDU. A native of Waipahu, HI, Teves was a defensive dynamo on Friday after she racked up 23 digs in a five-set thriller to help LIU keep its perfect conference record intact. One day later, she tacked on 17 more digs to keep the Sharks rolling with their 12th-straight win, a 3-0 final. The two-time NEC/Molten Defensive Player of the Week honoree tops the league charts in digs per set with 3.29 this season.
