Eight of Regnart’s saves came in the fourth quarter as she was peppered with a total of 20 shots, including nine in the final frame. The Cape Town, South Africa native also made a clutch save on a penalty stroke at the 52:29-minute mark in the contest to help preserve the Broncs’ one-goal advantage. Additionally, Regnart posted a scoreless first half in Friday night’s 7-0 shutout victory against Mercyhurst. The Broncs improved to 4-1 in league play with the win over the Lakers. Currently, Regnart leads the NEC in save percentage (.794) along with ranking second for saves per game (8.79) and shutouts (two) on the year. This marks Regnart’s third career NEC Defensive Player of the Week award and first of the 2026 campaign.
