Idowu began her senior season with four top-five finishes at the Hannah Gibbons Invite last week. She placed second in the 50 backstroke with a time of 28.03 and the 100 back with a 1:00.45 mark. Idowu placed fifth in the 50 fly, touching the wall at 27.58. She also helped her relay team finish third.
