O’Donnell netted her first two collegiate goals during Stonehill’s 4-1 victory over Merrimack to open up conference play. The freshman forward found the back of the cage for the Skyhawks’ second goal of the contest about two minutes into the second period. O’Donnell went onto to virtually ice the game with her second goal early in the third frame to give Stonehill a 4-0 advantage. O'Donnell leads all NEC first-year players in goals scored this season. This is the third straight season that a Skyhawk freshman has earned NEC Rookie of the Week laurels.
