In Sacred Heart’s 2-1 victory at Dartmouth, Butler did it all while protecting the cage as she made five stops in 60 minutes of play. The sophomore keeper made three of her saves in the first half as the Pioneers and the Big Green were locked in a 1-1 stalemate. She added two more stops in the third quarter to help SHU hold onto a one goal advantage. Butler is the first Sacred Heart goalie to earn NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors since Samantha Maresca claimed the award during the 2024 campaign. She finished the week with a .833 save percentage and a 1.00 GAA.
