Espana notched her second consecutive NEC Rookie of the Week award with yet another match in which she contributed to multiple goals. The Madrid native assisted Marina Burzaco's equalizer and scored the very late winner in FDU's 2-1 win over Hofstra on Thursday. The Knights enter the conference campaign unbeaten in their last five matches, earning two wins and three draws. During that span, Espana has scored two goals and assisted three. The latter number is good for the conference lead in assists this season.
