In a pair of contests for New Haven last week, Lazo totaled five points off two goals and an assist. The senior middie started out strong with a three-point outing at New Hampshire last Tuesday. Lazo notched a score in the 48th minute before going on to dish an assist to Richard Henry at the 65:45 mark. In a nailbiter against in-state rival Fairfield, Lazo produced the game-tying goal just 90 seconds into the second half. Lazo is tied for third in the conference with three goals on the year, while ranking fifth in points per game (1.17). The Montville, NJ native is the first Charger to take home NEC Player of the Week honors since Alessandro Bizzini on September 15, 2025, making Lazo the first New Haven athlete to claim NEC Player of the Week accolades this season. Three different Chargers earned the distinction a year ago.
