Wiggins returned five kickoffs for 84 yards in Central Connecticut’s defeat at FBS opponent Toledo on Saturday. The Washington, D.C. native is the second Blue Devil to garner NEC/Atlantic Tomorrow’s Office Rookie of the Week distinction, joining classmate Davon Smith, Jr., who tallied 105 kickoff return yards on six attempts at then-ranked No. 12 South Dakota on Opening Weekend to earn the award on Aug. 31.
