Morton did it all for the Stonehill defense in its season opener against in-state rival Holy Cross. The sophomore goalkeeper made a career-high 19 saves in the Skyhawks' 2-1 overtime setback against the Crusaders on the road. Morton stood her ground in front of the cage as she made seven stops in the first half, while clutching up with eight more saves in the final frame. The Bath, England native is one of two goalies in the country to have at least 19 saves in a game last week, which is a national-best. Morton finished the week with a .905 save percentage and 1.83 GAA. This marks Morton’s second career NEC Defensive Player of the Week award with her last one coming on November 4, 2025.
