Tremonte put together another stellar effort between the pipes to help Stonehill take home a share of the NEC regular season crown for the second time in as many years. The Brookfield, CT native tied a season-best effort in Saturday’s 13-5 win at Howard after she came away with 13 stops. In addition, Tremonte, who added three ground balls to her stat line, limited the Bison to just two scores in the second half to help the postseason-bound Skyhawks come away with the road victory. Logging a league-leading 1,020 minutes in net for Stonehill, Tremonte finished the regular season fifth in the league with an 11.06 goals-against average while her 8.53 saves per contest were good for second among all NEC netminders. She closed out her junior campaign with two NEC Defensive Player of the Week nods.
