Ostrowski saved the best performance of his rookie season for last, earning himself a third NEC Rookie of the Week accolade in the process. With VMI controlling its own postseason destiny, Ostrowski bagged five goals and picked up two ground balls in a 14-5 win over Detroit Mercy that punched the Keydets' postseason ticket. The Annapolis, MD native finished the regular season with 22 points from 19 goals and three assists, proving to be a key contributor to a VMI offense that ranked third in the NEC with 12.00 goals per game. Thanks in part to Ostrowski, the Keydets will partake in the NEC Tournament for the very first time and return to the postseason for the third time in program history.
