Manfredi lands the second NEC Defensive Player of the Week honor for a Le Moyne player this season, as she joins fellow teammate Carrie Bennett, who took home the distinction following the Dolphins’ opening weekend. The goalkeeper from East Islip, NY went the distance between the pipes to lead her squad to a postseason-berth clinching 11-7 win over FDU on Saturday. Making 11 saves, including four down the stretch in the fourth quarter, Manfredi posted a .611 save percentage and added four ground balls in the triumph. On the season, the junior leads the conference with an 8.01 GAA and .488 save percentage. The Dolphins will take on Central Connecticut on Saturday looking to secure the NEC regular season title and the top seed in the NEC Championship for the first time in program history.
