Competing at two different meets last week, Davis did it all for New Haven on the track and in the jumping pits. The freshman sprinted her way to a PR in the 400m dash with a 58.44 to place 12th at the UConn Dog Fight, which puts her at fourth in the NEC performance list. Davis also leaped 5.15m in the long jump to win the bronze at the 2nd Annual Rage in the Cage Invitational. Her distance is 13th among conference jumpers. Davis is the first Charger to take home a NEC Rookie of the Week award during New Haven’s debut season on the outdoor circuit.
