Earning back-to-back NEC Field Athlete of the Week awards, Marin impressed once again with a pair of two throws in the conference at last week’s UConn Dog Fight. The sophomore registered a new personal record and NEC-best discus toss by going for 45.08m to finish fourth at the meet and rank 183rd in the nation. She also placed sixth at the UConn-hosted meet in the javelin with a 38.78m throw. Her javelin toss is second the conference only to her previous season-best. This is Marin’s second NEC Field Athlete of the Week selection of the season and third of her career.
