Ruffin continued his impressive run of form this spring after winning the high jump at the Mets Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend. The sophomore cleared 2.10m to claim gold, which is second in the league this year just behind his previous season-best of 2.17m. His 2.10m height is also tied for 49th nationally. This is Ruffin’s second NEC Field Athlete of the Week award this season and fourth of his career.
