Collecting back-to-back NEC Rookie of the Week honors, Baylor-Reeves continued her hot start to the outdoor season at the 30th Annual Monmouth Season Opener last week. The freshman put up a 13.54m shot put mark to win the bronze at the meet, rank second in the conference to her previous season-best and sit 193rd on the national performance list. Baylor-Reeves added another third-place finish in the discus with a PR of 41.10m, which is second in the league. She also launched the hammer 45.27m to place sixth at the Monmouth-hosted competition and rank fifth in the NEC. Baylor-Reeves is the first LIU athlete to earn multiple NEC Rookie of the Week awards in the same season since Monica Akello in 2010
