Ochoa Valencia put together an impressive runner-up finish last week at the Carpetbagger Classic hosted by Binghamton. The freshman carded a 6-under par (70-68) through two rounds of play. Ochoa Valencia picked up six birdies on his way to finishing just one stroke behind the leader. He finished the two-day event with an astounding 69.0 stroke average. Wagner placed 10th out of 16 teams competing the event. This marks the first NEC Golfer of the Week selection for the Seahawks since 2017.
